AutoCAD® Map 3D mapping software is a model-based infrastructure planning and management application that provides broad access to CAD and GIS data. With intelligent industry data models and tools, you can apply regional and discipline-specific standards. These technologies help you improve data quality, support productivity, and better manage infrastructure assets.

Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server - Infrastructure Map Server delivers all the features and functionality of Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise and Topobase Web, plus many new enhancements and application extensions, including two technology previews:
Bentley Map V8i- is a desktop geospatial information system that is 3D by nature and designed to meet the needs of infrastructure professionals. Bentley Map is offered in three editions aligned with user requirements: Bentley Map PowerView, Bentley Map, and Bentley Map Enterprise.

Bentley Geo Web Publisher V8i
- high-performance publishing to integrate a variety of data sources, author and administer Web sites, and maximize the value of your geospatial information. Bentley Geo Web Publisher enables a wide range of applications such as municipal information systems, image or drawing archives, map-based navigational sites, project sites, and public information portals. Integrated vector and image server engines publish hybrid vector/raster datasets and a wide range of formats, making it easy to incorporate drawings, maps, models, aerial photography, and images within custom browser presentations.
ERDAS IMAGINE performs advanced remote sensing analysis and spatial modeling to create new information. In addition, with ERDAS IMAGINE, you can visualize your results in 2D, 3D, movies, and on cartographic quality map compositions. Some popular ERDAS products like IMAGINE Essentials, IMAGINE Advantage, and IMAGINE Professional.

Manifold GIS is a combination of mapping, CAD, DBMS and image processing. The hallmark of GIS is the power of using a visual interface to view, grab, analyze, manipulate and transform data that would not be comprehensible in classic row and column DBMS text presentations. Supports both Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 with a perfectly integrated desktop, enterprise and web IMS stack.

Cadcorp SIS standalone & desktop products are used in all phases of spatial data handling: preparation, creation, configuration and management, viewing, querying, editing, analysis, and modelling. The product suite ranges from an easy to use, free data viewing product (Map Reader) right through to an advanced, 'high end' GIS (Map Modeller).

TNTmips by MicroImages -is a professional system for fully integrated GIS, image processing, CAD, TIN, desktop cartography, and geospatial database management.

SpaceEyes -is specialised in Earth observation image processing, and manages the development and marketing of SpacEyes3D. SpacEyes 3D uses Earth observation images in a real time fly through and 3D model making software. The tool is designed for anyone who wants to communicate, explain, inform or present any aspect of management or enhancement of an area to a non-specialist public.

Spatial Database Management Systems

Autodesk GIS Design Server is an enterprise spatial data (GIS) server that provides sophisticated data integrity, management, and analysis capabilities for organizations that need multiple users (tens to hundreds) to work concurrently on a single seamless spatial database that can also store nonspatial data.

Bentley Geospatial Server V8i -brings together information in spatial databases, drawings, business documents, and other forms through a unique federated information management approach.

ESRI ArcSDE - is a core component of ArcGIS for Server. It manages spatial data in a relational database management system (RDBMS) and enables it to be accessed by ArcGIS clients. It is the technology that provides the framework to support long transactions, which facilitates the versioned editing environment in multiuser geodatabases.

Boeing's Spatial Query Server (SQS) -is a spatial data management tool that unlocks and exploits the spatial information that is available in captured data sources. SQS spatially empowers Sybase® Adaptive Server® Enterprise (ASE) databases and results in location-based, geographically relevant information to support decision making, thereby providing a competitive advantage to an enterprise.

IBM Informix – Allows spatial querying and storing of most spatial data types. IBM Spatial offerings provide the basis for building robust spatial applications using international & industry standard interfaces. Support by 3rd party and open source software facilitates the delivery of spatial solutions. .

Microsoft SQL Server 2008
– The latest player in the market of storing and querying spatial data. At this stage only some GIS products such as MapInfo and Cadcorp SIS can read and edit this data while ESRI and others are expected to be able to read and edit this data within the next few months

Oracle Spatial – Product allows users to perform complex geographic operations and store common spatial data types in a native Oracle environment. Most commercial GIS packages can read and edit spatial data stored in this way.

PostGIS – adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL object-relational database. In effect, PostGIS "spatially enables" the PostgreSQL server, allowing it to be used as a backend spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS), much like ESRI's SDE or Oracle's Spatial extension.

Software Development Framworks and Libraries (Web Applications)

Bentley Geo Web Solutions V8i - is a web services framework that can be used to integrate interactive maps in a website, or to integrate geospatial information in organizational workflows using industry standards. Geospatial specialists are empowered to prepare geo-services for webmasters, allowing them to easily add geospatial content to internal and external websites.

ESRI ArcIMS - provides dynamic Web mapping and metadata catalog services for use both inside and outside an organization.

CadCorp GeognoSIS - is Cadcorp's flagship web mapping product. It makes the wide-ranging functionality of the Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System available over the web for interactive mapping applications; or over a corporate intranet or extranet for the enterprise-wide deployment of GIS applications and data.
